There are plenty of them out there, and I just happen to have two. It started out as one. My business partner encouraged me to do one and about succesfull businesses and people who started them. Interviewed all kinds of poeple so far including some multi millionaires, famous comic Bobby Slayton, and many more.
And as a former radio guy, I was itchin to do something more along the lines of my morning show. I liked interviewing people and shining a light on them, but I like performing, making jokes, writing, doing voices. So I called on my partner from my show in Vegas because I knew he was still on the air but he wasn't doing a "show" anymore, he's doing news and traffic. He's a funny guy, we had a blast together, won awards as the best morning show in Vegas two years running and got paid a bonus for being #1 after I got canned there . . . and he wasn't interested. So then I talked to my former parter whom I worked with here in Omaha. We did about 7 years together as a morning show team. Did well, had lots of laughs, got to know how each other worked and had a real good rythym, good ratings. She's too like Mitch is real smart So I called her up in Kansas where she is now teaching at a college and asked her to give it a go. We did, and we're having fun like old times. We chat via Skype and do a morning show type of deal, we laugh, take shots, what's going on in our lives, comedy bits, some Hollywood and music stuff, and give you our spin on what's going on. From what we're hearing back, it's engaging and fun and funny. We hope you give it a try. The business podcast is called back in black, it's about getting your life, your family and your finances . . .back in black at backinblack.us. Lots of great advice from real entrepreneurs and they are fun and engaging too. The second one with Glo is at www.glennboyandglo.com. The great thing is they are just long enough for your commute, and you're going to have fun listening.
